36th MSX users meeting in Barcelona
   Fairs & Meetings

AAMSX will hold their next MSX users meeting on the 5th of December. The meeting place will be at Civic Center Cotxeres de Sants, the same place as the successful meeting in May.

Confirmed exhibitors are Konamito.com, to show the entries for their last MSX basic contest and Z80ST software will show their game Qbiqs (as good as finished) and their new project KNT. More confirmations of other exhibitors will follow in the next weeks. The returning game contest will be held with Qbiqs this time.

AAMSX has also started a new service for exhibitors. Exhibitors can now hire needed equipment instead of carrying lot's of stuff with them. Best thing is that AAMSX doesn't charge money for attending the meeting or getting a table.

At the 36th MSX users meeting in Barcelona, AAMSX will be presenting something special: a new and extended version of Monster Hunter, the winning MSXdev'06 game by Nerlaska. With the new version of this game comes quite a list of new features and improvements. Behold!
  • New history
  • Intro and ending scenes
  • In-game scenary extended and modified
  • New enemies
  • New bosses
  • New music composed by Japanese chiptune composer DRM
  • New audio system that offers PSG, combinad with SCC and FM
  • Savegame RAM built into the cartridge
  • Autodetection of MSX TurboR machines
  • Autodetection of MSX2+ machines with 7mhz mode
  • Instruction manual in English and Spanish
  • A whopping 4Megabit cartridge! (512 kilobyte)

This turn-based RPG is compatible with all MSX models with at least 16KB of RAM. The profits of this and other games go to AAMSX, and it will enable them to organize future users meetings. Nerlaska will be present with a stand to present and sell this brand new Monster Hunter. If all this isn't a reason to pay this fair a visit, then nothing is!
