On last MVM meeting ray2day (the guy with the big MSX-logo tattooed on his leg) showed his new and special MSX casemod; a Philps NMS 8245 MSX2 totally covered with cool MSX game covers.
Next to other updates on his website you can read (in Dutch) which tools and materials ray2day used to create this great MSX casemod.

GEM 10th Anniversary brings new release |

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of GEM, The New Image released new version. GEM is TNI's Gameboy Emulator for MSX and boasts a dynamic recompiler that is said to run games at playable speeds on MSX turboR.
Dynamic recompiler improvements aside, the sound quality was greatly improved by supporting the SCC soundchip. MSX-DOS2 compatibility was improved with a new memory manager that also supports an external memory mapper, finally allowing large games to be played on MSX turboR.
